Using the EventLog Component
This example writes the message Credentials Reset to the OS_AUTOMATION log on the local machine with OpenSpan Automation as the source. The message is assigned the Information event type.
Note: Event log and event source creation are privileged operations. Creation of a new event log is an administrative operation and must be done under an Admin user's credentials. If the OS_Automation log does not exist on the computer running this project, Studio tries to create the log. If, however, the Runtime user does not have sufficient system privileges to create event logs, an error will occur when calling the EventLog.WriteLog() method.
