HTML Table Section - Properties, Methods, and Events
The Table Section object has the following properties, methods, and events. Design Properties are accessed from the Properties Grid. Access all other properties, methods and events directly from Object Explorer or by using the Configure Type option.
Properties
Name |
Description |
AbsoluteCount |
Returns an Int32 for the total number of instances for the selected table section. For each type of table section, the absolute count represents the total sections of that type. For example, in a table with two divisions, with four subdivisions each, the absolute count of the divisions would be four while the absolute count of the subdivisions would be eight. |
AbsoluteIndex |
Index of a particular table section among all instances of that table section. For more information, see HTML Data Cell Keys. (Int32) |
Extender |
Specifies an extender class contained in a separate DLL, which contributes properties, methods, and events to the table section. |
Index |
Index of a table section within its parent target. For information, see HTML Data Cell Keys. (Int32) |
IsCreated |
Indicates whether the table section has been created (matched). For information, see WaitForCreate. |
Key |
Identifies the table section across the entire solution. For information, see HTML Data Cell Keys. |
Name |
Gets or sets the name assigned to the table section. |
NextKey |
Gets or sets the unique key that will be assigned to the next clone of this control. |
This |
A reference to the Table Section object. |
Timeout |
Specifies the timeout interval for the Created event. For more information, see WaitForCreate. |
UseKeys |
Applies to table sections that are cloneable. Setting this property to True lets Studio assign system generated keys to the clones. These keys are unique and can be used in project logic to identify specific objects in the case where multiple instances of the objects can exist at runtime. For more information, see HTML Data Cell Keys. |
WaitHandle |
A control's WaitHandle is a signal that is turned on when a control is created and off when the control is destroyed. The WaitHandle allows callers to wait for the component's creation signal when using the WaitAny or WaitAll components. For more information, see WaitAny and WaitAll Components. |
Events
Event |
Description |
Created |
Occurs when the table section is matched. For more information, see WaitForCreate. |
Destroyed |
Occurs when the table section is unmatched. |
Disposed |
Occurs when the table section is disposed by a call to the Dispose method. |
Methods
Method |
Description |
Parameters |
Return Type |
Detach |
Un-matches this control from the target that it is matched to. This method is used when an automation might need to force a control to un-match before calling the Rematch or RematchChildren method to re-match controls. Note: Rematch or RematchChildren should only be used when there is an issue that prevents matching from working correctly. |
None |
Void |
GetEvent |
Initiates downstream logic pending the occurrence of a particular event . Click the Name parameter in the GetEvent design block to view a list of events applicable for the component . Select the event and then create a proxy from the GetEvent result. For information, see Get Event for Windows Controls and Forms. |
EventName name |
Event |
GetTable |
Returns the DataTable that contains information from data cells within the desired table section. |
None |
DataTable |
ResetState |
Reserved for .NET use. |
None |
Void |
WaitForCreate |
Waits for the table section to be created (matched). Returns True if the section is created before the WaitTimeout period elapses. Otherwise, it returns False. For more information, see WaitForCreate. |
None |
Boolean |
WaitForCreate |
Waits for the table section to be created (matched). Returns True if the section is created before the specified number of milliseconds has elapsed. Otherwise, it returns False. For more information, see WaitForCreate. |
