Studio's Edit menu options
The options available from the Edit option on the Studio main menu let you perform standard cut and paste functions as well as use the Undo/Redo feature.
Option |
Description |
Undo |
Applies to automations, Windows forms, and application bars. Cancels the last action performed for the project item. For example, after connecting data ports on automation connection blocks, this option removes the connection. For more information, see Undo and Redo Functions. |
Redo |
Applies to automations, Windows forms, and application bars. Performs the last action that was cancelled by the Undo function. For example, after connecting data ports on automation connection blocks selecting Undo removes the connection. If Redo is selected, the connection is restored. For more information, see Undo and Redo Functions. |
Cut |
Applies to automations, cuts the currently selected item to the Windows clipboard. |
Copy |
Applies to automations, copies the currently selected item to the Windows clipboard. |
Paste |
Applies to automations, pastes the most recent item from the clipboard. |
Delete |
Deletes the selected item. |
Select All |
Selects all connection blocks on the automation. Enabled when an automation is open (active) in the Designer. |
Find and Replace |
Opens a menu with the following options.

Go To |
Let's you go to an open window. |
Navigate To |
Use this option to search the open solution to find what you entered into the search bar. |
Bookmarks |
Lets you edit the bookmarks you have created. |
