Designer Window
The Designer window displays editing functions for solution items, projects, and project items. The form of the Designer window depends on the open item. When an item is first added to a solution, the item is automatically in the Designer. To manually open an item in the Designer, right-click on an item in Solution Explorer and select Open.
In a Studio project, the Designer window is most commonly used for:
Adapters (such as Windows, web, and text applications) – Displays information and functions for working with match rules. For more information, see Match Rules Overview.
Application Bars – Displays a blank Application Bar for adding controls.
Automations – Displays an editor for adding/connecting property, method, and event connection blocks as well as adding Studio components.
Configurations – Displays configuration profiles which are property-value pairs for specific components.
Global Containers – Displays a container to which you add components you want accessible to all automations in the project.
Services – Displays the service enablement editor.
Windows Forms – Displays a blank Windows form for adding controls.
