Remove a Local or Global Component
Follow these steps to remove Local or Global components:
In the Local or Global tab of the Automation Component tray, select (single-click) the component you want to remove.
Press the Delete key.
If the selected component is used in one or more automations a confirmation message is displayed that lists the automations that will be broken by deleting it. Click Yes in the confirmation message if you are sure you want to delete the component.
Note: Removing a component from the automation design pane will not remove it from the automation’s Component tray, except for the Call Script and SqlCommand components, which are deleted from the Component tray when they are deleted from the automation design pane.
