License Edition
Studio projects are run at the end user workstations via Runtime. Runtime is built on and extends the Microsoft .NET Framework and acts as a desktop deployment runtime. There are two editions of the Runtime application:
Enterprise Edition
Events Edition
The main difference between the two editions is that with the Events version you cannot change/modify the state of an application control – you can read (get) property values but not write (set) property values. The Enterprise version enables modification of the state of interrogated controls. This table shows the differences between the Enterprise and Events editions.
The default is the Runtime Enterprise Edition. To set or change the target the Runtime edition, select Options from the Tools menu and highlight License Edition under OpenSpan in the Options window.
