DataGrid - Property, Method, and Event Exceptions by Component Name

Not every DataGrid property, method, or event is available for all of the supported proprietary DataGrid components. These tables list all DataGrid specific properties, methods, and events, and identifies for each of the proprietary DataGrid components whether a specific property, method, or event is available ( • ) or un-available ( X ).

Note: To determine the type of grid you are working with, view the factory name associated with the grid. For more information, see DataGrid - Proprietary Components.

Keep in mind the Button, CheckBox, ComboBox, and RadioButton controls do not conform to the standard mouse click event behavior. These mouse events are not supported on certain controls because these mouse events are not applicable for those control types.

Left click – Click and MouseClick
Right click – No click events are raised
Left double-click – Click and MouseClick
Right double-click – No click events are raised
