Windows Tab
The Windows tab lists every Windows type control in a Windows, web, or Java application. The information only appears while the application is being interrogated. The list is displayed in a tree-view format to represent the hierarchy between the parent/child relationships. The most often used feature of this tab is to create controls for targets that are not visible within the application.
For example, you would use the Windows tab to create a process object for an application since a control for the process is not automatically added to Object Explorer when an application is interrogated. Another common use of the Windows tab is to Exclude processes of factories for an application. For more information, see Excluding Processes for Use in Projects.

An example of the Windows tab for a Win32 application
follows. Note that the check box control is highlighted. If a property
is changed in the Selected Window grid, the property will automatically
be changed in the active application. For example, if you change the CheckState
to Checked, the check box is displayed as checked in the active application.
