Interrogating Hidden Fields

Use the Create Control function to add controls from web applications to Studio solutions. To select this function right-click on a browser, frame, or control on the Web Controls tab while interrogating an application.

These steps show how to use the Create Control function to add a Hidden control to a solution.

  1. Interrogate a web application, such as www.google.com

  2. Open the Web Controls tab.

  3. Click the  List Windows and Documents button.

  4. From the Web Controls list, select the adapter, such as Google (http://google.com/).

  5. In the Filter list, select Input Type =  Hidden as the control type.

  6. Click the List Web Controls button. A list of hidden controls is displayed.

  7. Click on each hidden control and view the properties for the control in the Selected Web Controls grid.

  8. When you have identified the hidden control you want to add to the solution, right-click the hidden control and select Create Control to add it to Object Explorer.
