Match Rules - Windows Messages Identified

Studio monitors messages received from the solution applications. Whenever specific messages occur, the messages are flagged by Studio. When there is a pause in the message stream, Studio examines the messages and applies matches rules corresponding to the messages received.

The messages flagged for Windows applications are:

• WM_ACTIVATE

• WM_CREATE

• WM_SHOWWINDOW

• WM_SETTEXT

• WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGED

• SetParent

Any time Studio flags one of the above Windows for an active Windows process associated with the solution, it checks the matching for the associated objects.
