Configuration Files Location

These Robotic Automation Studio configuration files are installed:

File Locations

Studio – Files are installed into the Application folder under the OpenSpan application installation folder.

Studio Plug-in for Visual Studio 2015 – Files are installed in the OpenSpan Plug-in installation folder. Here is an example:

C:\Program Files\OpenSpan\OpenSpan Plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio 2015

When a user runs Studio or the Studio plug-in, copies of the configuration files modified with the user's settings are written to the Windows %LocalAppData% folder. Here is an example:

C:\Documents and Settings\CurrentUser\My Documents\OpenSpan Studio for VS 2015

By default, all Studio diagnostic log files are also stored in the %AppData% folder. The SuperTrace files are stored in a subfolder (\SuperTraceLogs). Here is an example:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OpenSpan Studio for Visual Studio 2015

All Runtime diagnostic log files are stored in the %AppData% folder. Here is an example:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OpenSpan Studio for VS 2015

The SuperTrace files are stored in a subfolder (\SuperTraceLogs).

Runtime – The OpenSpanRuntime.exe.config file, which contains general configuration settings for the Runtime application is located in the Runtime installation folder.

Deployment Portal – The CommonConfig.xml file contains information necessary to connect to and work with Pega Robot Manager, Pega Workforce Intelligence, and the Deployment Portal (formerly Management Console), This file is usually found in this folder:

C:\ProgramData\OpenSpan\CommonConfig.xml

Agile Desktop – An Interaction.xml file is created for each project and is stored in the root of the Projects folder. Here is an example:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\OpenSpan Studio for VS 2015\Projects\ProjectName\Interaction.xml

You can name this xml file anything you want, as long as you update the name in the ConfigurationFile property when setting properties for Interaction Manager in Solution Explorer.
