Label and Jump To

Label - Jump To functionality lets you connect one part of an automation to another. For example, if you have a very large automation in which you need to connect a variable and method, instead of a long execution line or data path, you can connect them with a Label-Jump pair.

Note: This functionality can only be used within the same automation.

To use this functionality, right-click on an open area inside of an automation. Then select Add Label. Once you have done this, the Label object is displayed.

You can include additional parameters by clicking the + button.

By right-clicking a second time on the open area inside the automation, you can choose the Jump To option.

Automation keying is only allowed when the label and the jump label match. For best results, do not use Jump To labels inside sections of automations where maintaining the keys is important, otherwise the keys will be lost.

Use the Key property to differentiate between identical or cloned items.
