Properties grid
The Properties grid displays the Design properties for the project item, control, or component that you have selected. In 19.1.22 and later, there are two views:
Standard - The list of properties is filtered to show only the most commonly used properties for the item, control, or component.
Advanced - The list of properties includes all available properties.
Note: The Standard View is the default in 19.1.22 and later. When you display the Properties Grid in 19.1.22 or later, a splash screen shows examples of both views. This screen appears each time you display the Properties grid, until you dismiss it.
To switch to the Advanced view, click Standard and select Advanced. To go back to the Standard view, click Advanced and select Standard.

There are three buttons at the top of the Advanced view of the Properties grid:
To group the properties in categories, click the Categorized button.
To sort the properties in alphabetical order, click the Alphabetical button.
The Properties Page button applies when you select a Studio project in Solution Explorer. Click this button to open the Project properties for the project in the Designer.
The bottom of the window lists the currently selected property. It includes a short developer note about the property. Links to perform specific functions appear at the bottom of the grid. The links that appear depend on the control you selected.
To add a property to Standard view, switch to the Advanced view, right click the property and choose Add to Standard View.
To remove a property from Standard view, right clock the property in Standard view and choose Remove from Standard View. You can only remove properties that you added to Standard view.
