.NET MenuStrip
Pega Robotic Automation supports the integration of the .NET 2.0 MenuStrip control. This topic describes how to interrogate a MenuStrip target and lists the available properties, methods, and events exposed for the created controls. For more information on .NET MenuStrip, see the MSDN MenuStrip Class topic.
To integrate a MenuStrip and its associated elements from a Windows application into a Studio project, use the Windows application adapter and interrogate the MenuStrip target directly using the Interrogation function. A MenuStrip control is created under its parent in Object Explorer.
You can directly interrogate some MenuStrip elements, such as text boxes and combo boxes. Controls for these targets are created as standard Windows-type controls.
To interrogate the menus and sub-menu items, right-click on the MenuStrip control in Object Explorer and select the Add Menu/DropDown Items option. The Add Menu Items window is displayed. For these controls, Studio uses the .NET Name Match Rule.
For more information on the supported properties, methods, and events for the MenuStrip (ToolStripMenuItem), see .NET ToolStrip.
Note: Studio does not support integration of non-menu item controls that are located under MenuStrip menus.
