Testing Citrix Solutions Locally

Once you have created your Studio -Citrix project, make sure to test the project locally. This means, run the project from Studio on a machine that has access to all of the applications used in the solution.

Before deploying the project, do the following steps:

Set the Citrix Context Run Local property to True. This lets you run the solution through the Studio to test functionality. Before deploying the project, set the Run Local parameter to False.
Set the Citrix Context Project To Load On Server parameter to the name (including full path) of the deployment package. Note that while you are testing the project (running locally) this parameter is ignored. After testing locally, make sure to deploy the project on the Citrix server exactly as it is entered in this parameter.
