Using the Start Dialog

Studio lets you display a Start Applications dialog which your end users can use to start one or more applications. Use the ShowStartDialog method to display this window.

Note: You can also use the StartApplicationList method to start a single application or a list of applications without displaying this window.

Here is an example of the Start dialog:

To use, you simply click the application you want to start and click the Start button. You can also double-click on the application and it will start without having to click the Start button. To start multiple applications, hold down the Shift key, click the applications you want to start, then click the Start button. The applications will start in the order they appear on the list.

The applications are started in the same manner as the StartMyDay method employs, Manual or Automatic, as determined by the adapter's StartMyDay property.
