Citrix — ICA settings
This topic discusses the interaction between ICA settings and Citrix Context properties.
ICA setting — initial program
If the Published Application Name property is blank on the Context, then the InitialProgram specified in the template ICA file will be used. If the template file does not contain an InitialProgram, then an error dialog will be displayed.
If the Published Application Name property contains a value, it will always replace the InitialProgram value (this is how it worked before the modification).
ICA setting — address
If the Published Application Name property is blank, and the InitialProgram property is specified in the template ICA file, then the address can be populated in the following ways.
If the Connection Server Address property contains a value, the address is set to the property value.
If the Connection Server Address property is blank and the address contains a value in the template file, the ICA address is used.
If the Connection Server Address property is blank and the address is blank, the ICA file InitialProgram is used as the address (minus the leading '#' character).
If the Published Application Name property contains a value, then the address can be populated in the following ways.
If the Connection Server Address property contains a value, the address is set to the property value.
If the Connection Server Address property is blank, then the address is set to the value of the Published Application Name.
