Setting up Internet Explorer to Use Siebel
Keep in mind...
Siebel must be added as a trusted site in Internet Explorer Options.
Trusted Sites security setting must be set to Low.
ActiveX controls must be allowed to run in Internet Explorer. This is turned on by default when you set the security setting to Low.
If you are using Internet Explorer version 9 or higher, you must enable the Compatibility View feature. This feature helps websites designed for earlier versions of Internet Explorer display correctly, which can affect OpenSpan matching. For instance, if Compatibility View is turned off, the navigation toolbar will not appear. To set Compatibility View, follow the instructions on this webpage.

Note: On some systems, the popup blocker must be set to allow popups for the Siebel site. The settings required for Internet Explorer may vary, depending on the individual Siebel installation.
