Java Controls Tab
The Java Controls tab lists every object and control in a Java applet or Java application. The information only appears while the application is being interrogated. The list is displayed in a tree view format to represent the hierarchy of parent/child relationships. Right-clicking on a controls shows the following options.
Create Control – Lets you add the selected control to the OpenSpan solution. For more information, see Create Control Function.
Expand All – Expands all nodes and subnodes of the object tree.
Copy Subtree – Copies a list of the currently selected node and subnodes to the Windows clipboard.
Analyze Class Cardinality – Shows the number of instances of each kind of Java component in the subtree. It is helpful for identifying types of components that appear frequently in an applet or application that are not of interest and could be ignored to increase performance.
