Viewing a Deployment Package in Studio

Deployment package files are run through the Runtime/Agile Desktop application. You can, however, view information about deployed projects by using the View Deployment Package option and selecting a .openspan file. The type of information available include the project version, deployed version, and a list of reference files, dynamic assemblies, and translator files.

To view a deployment package, perform these steps.

1. Select Tools > View Deployment Package option from the main menu. The Open window is displayed.

2. Go to the .openspan file for the deployment package you want to view.

3. Highlight the file and click Open. The Deployment Package Viewer window is displayed. This dialog is similar the Project Deployment Dialog with the exception that it is an information-only window. For more information, see Project Deployment Dialog.
